The mission of the Terre Haute Street Department is to provide a safe network of streets, avenues, and alleys throughout the City. A few of this department's specific responsibilities include pothole repair, grading and repairing alleys, snow and ice removal, street sweeping, leaf collection, mowing city right-of-ways and maintenance of street and traffic signs.
