Holiday Happenings in the Wabash Valley

Christmas carols try to capture it. Buddy the Elf tried to sing it. Christmas trees try to illuminate it. But can you really capture the magic, beauty, and cheer of this season? We'd like to help you try! One of our favorite ways to spread Christmas cheer is by taking our families to enjoy the local fun that happens in our city throughout the month of December! Check out the following five highlights, and click on the links to read more details on HauteHappenings.com.

Miracle on 7th Street is an annual tradition that keeps getting bigger and better! From a lighted parade to free trackless train rides, families will love heading downtown for the festivities.

Everybody's waiting for the man with the bag! In 2018, there are 24 chances to meet Santa in the Wabash Valley. Some include free picture prints!

Want to make your Santa visit even more special? You could have cookies, pancakes, or a free community dinner with Santa as the special guest.

Clabber Girl Country Christmas has made some big changes for 2018, but the fun certainly hasn't diminished. This year there are TWO breakfast with Santa sessions, plenty of activities inside the museum, and (of course) professional pictures with Santa.

The Grinch may have had a rough start in his story, but we imagine his hostess, Cindy Lou Who, brings out the best in him when the Grinch visits the Vigo County Public Library.

With these great events in mind, we leave you with one last resource: a local guide to 55 experience gifts. From museum memberships to music classes to athletic challenges, there's something for everyone on this local list!
