The Terre Haute Chamber takes pride in member successes

Director of Member Engagement

Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce

As active members of the Terre Haute community, we, the staff of the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce consider ourselves lucky to be connected with so many different businesses throughout Terre Haute and the entire Wabash Valley. Our members are diverse, different and vast. We include businesses that bake homemade dog treats, ones that serve up chef created dishes each night, ones that load up trucks to drive all over the country and hundreds of others spanning different counties, industries and sizes.

We admit, we thought we knew a lot about the community that we serve, live and work in, that is, until we had the pleasure of watching the first few episodes of “The Haute.” Wow! This crew of inventive and dedicated photographers, writers, editors and web creators sure shed a light on some of the most recognized landmarks in our community.

How many people can say they’ve been to the top of the Vigo County Courthouse (and survived a very windy afternoon!)?! And who gets a personal and up close tour of the “hidden gem, the Swope Art Museum?! Even with more than 700 members of the Chamber, we are delighted to be still learning a great deal about the wonderful Wabash Valley.

Each one of us on the staff at the Chamber are parents and just like the pride we feel for our own kids when they accomplish great things in their lives, we can’t help but feel a similar pride when our members accomplish great things. We’re beaming with pride for members like The Swope Art Museum and Launch Terre Haute who have already been featured episodes and we look forward to watching and learning more about many of our other members and community partners. In the coming months our very own Terre Haute Young Leaders will be featured!

We’ll definitely be watching and hope you will too!

And keep watching our little niche within this web site – we’re working on some great initiatives and projects for 2018 that we hope will also teach you more about our community – and may even make you beam with pride.
